The purpose of being a member is to belong to a local professional trade association that reaches state and national levels as well. LOABA strives to bring increased value to every member through networking, education, and governmental affairs. The purpose of LOABA is to promote member businesses. Members promote themselves and their businesses by being involved within the Association.

LOABA membership is a three tier membership with Home Builders Association of Georgia as well as National Association of Home Builders. By being a member of LOABA you are eligible to apply for a variety of insurance programs as well as numerous discount and rebate programs. Members are well represented on a political level through national, state and local government and regulatory affairs.

There are opportunities for every member to be actively involved with the Association. Active committees within the association include but are not limited to: Board of Directors, Membership Committee, Builders Council, Associates Council, Big Event Committee, Golf Tournament Committee, Community Outreach Program, and Fran Faxon Scholarship Foundation.

No not necessarily many of the builders within our association are very loyal to their contractors. It will however put you in front of them and make them familiar with you so that if a problem should arise they would be apt to consider you as a possible sub-contractor. It is up to you as a member to become involved in the association.
